I take ballet classes, and cant help noticing that when I point my toes, the second largest one just bends and sticks up, when other girls can make it go flat with their other toes. I know that this both marks me down in exams,as the bend is visible, and will create problems when I come to do pointe work. Are there any exercises I can do to help this, or is it a normal problem?

If I were you I would try taping two toes together with a cotton ball spacer. I've never seen or heard of this problem but I think with a little practice you could get used to the tape.
