How can you stretch out canvas ballet shoes?

I haven't done ballet in about a year and a half, and during that time my shoe size has gone up about a half a size to one whole size. I was wondering if there was a way to stretch out my old, smaller ballet shoes so I don't have to go out and buy a brand new pair and break them in. They aren't pointe shoes, they're canvas shoes.

Any suggestions? Please. :D

Usually canvas shoes stretch out as you wear them. Although a half a size may be too much to stretch out. I would suggest just wearing them around the house. If it just sucks after a few weeks then get new shoes.

Canvas isn't that hard to break in.

Good Luck

Try going to a shoemaker, they are professionals in this kind of situation.
Canvas shoes usually do stretch as you wear them, but if they are old shoes that you have worn in the past for a while, they are probably already stretched as much as they can. It is probably best that you just go buy a new pair. This is also because the elastic probably has broken down, and the shoe from the bacteria and other nasty stuff that is naturally in the shoe after wearing it.
